Exactly when it should be

Have you ever noticed that the universe is very good at taking care of itself?

Sometimes I think we get so caught up in 'the day' and 'the routine' of our lives that we forget that if it doesn't get done, then maybe it wasn't so important in the first place. Or if it's not perfect, or dust-free that it'll probably be just fine anyway.

The picture above is a little blurry. I was taking it through the screen door. Didn't want to open the door and scare away my visitor. It's a baby, or maybe a teenage bunny. About half the size of my cat, who was drooling to go out, trust me. Anyway, I wasn't even upset it was nibbling on that silver plant at the edge of my flowerbed. I've been meaning to trim that thing back off the sidewalk for weeks. But the universe decided to do it for me. And I got a wondrous ten minutes to set aside work and observe nature in the process. Cool.

So what about you? Are you able to let some things go, no matter what it is, knowing that in good time it will be exactly as it should be? Or do you try to force it to meet your needs before it is time?

I'm going to think about this today. I can be impatient at times, but I've a lot of patience from having kids. But something marvelous occured last night that slapped me across the face and said 'See? All things in good time, and exactly when they should be'.

Have a great Fourth!

WOW! What a great picture . . . and story. What a potent remind of the universe's goodness.
